I transitioned from working for the US Army within the Civilian Human Resources Directorate to serving as the HR professional in a local government's Fire Department. Along the way, my interest in improving the workforce from a psychological business perspective has grown.

Provide expertise in areas of HR to the Fire Department, including Benefits, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Compensation.

I strive to continuously challenge myself, learn from every experience, and inspire others to reach their fullest potential, both personally and professionally.

Hiring the right candidate to fit the culture and long-term potential, not just immediate skill gaps. Strong teams are built on trust, diversity, and alignment with organization's mission, values, and goals.

My position is currently housed within one of the largest departments in my organization. By, offering in house services, I have been able to become a resource for information around numerous topics. This has provided department members with a better understanding of HR's roles and functions in an organization.
